Located in the quaint community of downtown Fairhope, Alabama, St. Lawrence Catholic Church strives for a warm, welcoming, Catholic community. In 2006, the Church decided to build a liaison between their two buildings. Cummings Architecture designed a breezeway that provided not only a convenient covered walkway but also a visually capturing work of art that is breathtaking at any time of day. The sun shines through the beams with ease and purpose. It is detailed yet simple and completes its purpose as a bold architectural focal point.
