Occupational Health Center

This building located in the Brookley Industrial Complex in Mobile was originally constructed as a gymnasium for a major aerospace company. In 2009, Occupational Health Center leased the vacant and neglected facility and hired Cummings Architecture to redesign the façade in a contemporary style. Cummings proposed an innovative and expressive canopy for entry. The aesthetic sense of contemporary industrial design is emphasized with this structure. This dynamic façade element certainly provides an illusion of perspective from every approach and is meant to be noticed and appreciated.
